Our Story

where it all began

That Faithful Girl Boutique was born from a dream and a passion for fashion, girlhood, and faith. I just graduated college and realized my degree would put me in an office not serving others; and not being able to spread my God's word. What started as a love for creating beautiful, feminine styles quickly became a calling to create something bigger; a place where women can express their love for Jesus boldly and confidently. I was tired of the poor reactions women got when they expressed their faith by their style. Whether that is wearing a Jesus filled graphic tee or sharing their bible study outfits. It was not normalized to show Him off.

& I decided to create something that did - a brand that celebrates modesty and style for girls who want to feel confident and bold in themselves.

I had a feeling deep down that many women needed Jesus sprinkled more in their lives; especially in their everyday style. God gave me the idea and tools to create this dream that glorifies Him.

I started researching & planning my mission. Praying everyday that each step is in God's time; all the firsts, the customers, & the funding. I knew He would open the right doors!

Fast forward to now... and somehow, by God's grace, there are over 300 of us in this community in our first year. Girls all over the world coming together to live out their faith boldly and we can show Him off confidently and modestly - it can be beautiful.

We have our first mini storefront in a boutique mall in Tonganoxie, Kansas. We have launched our influencer and model program; and God says it is only the beginning.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being apart of this journey. You're the reason I get to wake up and do what I love everyday. I will never forget where it all started; chasing a dream as a young college graduate that wanted to spread His light. 🤍

A lot of people assume I grew up Christian, but that is not fully accurate. I actually used to have no religion knowledge. Yep, the girl who now owns a Christian boutique once didn't know God at all (crazy, right?!)

Without diving too deep, I grew up in a household that was not religious or go to church. I had no knowledge of Him. I started to date my husband in eighth grade. He grew up Christian and attended church camps and more. I felt uncomfortable at first going to visit due to the unknown feeling.

My husband's family was always inviting and having open conversations about God. I started to attend their church and right away I got very curious on what He is and what He does for others. I got my first bible and started to grow my relationship with Him. In high school, I joined the Fellow Christian Athletes and started to surround myself with faith filled people. It started from there: I joined many Christian groups in college, my husband and I attended church regularly, and started to belong in the church community by being active and serving within. I started to really feel His presence in my Sophomore year of High School after I read His word; right away I started to pray to Him. I would never forget the verse...

Genesis 50:20 - "you intended to harm me, but God intended it for good, to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives"

This verse hit me like a wave. The stage of my life when I knew of religion and Him; but had no knowledge. The feeling of being uncomfortable and the unknown. The unknown...the uncomfortable feeling - it had a purpose. God had been writing my story the whole time, even when I couldn't see it.

Today I see how He used those unknown seasons to shape me into the person younger Ally needed. He gave me a heart for helping others feel seen, confident, and loved in who He created them to be.

My prayer is That Faithful Girl, is more than just a clothing brand to you, I hope it is a reminder to:

Stay curious and seek His knowledge; even in the stage of unknown & uncomfortable. Go to His word, praise Him, walk with Him, and always show Him off.

If you take anything from my story, let it be this: inviting God into your life doesn't have to be complicated. It can start with just one simple prayer, one church attendance, one moment of surrender, and from there, you will be amazed at how beautifully He can reach and transform your life.🤍
